Daily political newspapers are among the types of publication with the widest title list in the Press Card Regulation: 14 sub-paragraphs are listed in Art. 19/1.

The quota is determined by the total surface area of the pages of the newspaper.

The Definition of a Political Newspaper — Art. 4/o
Political newspaper: periodicals that carry domestic and foreign political events, daily news, subjects of the economy, culture, the arts and politics, and commentary on them.
The Definition of a Daily Publication — Art. 4/ı
Daily publication: publications published as at least six issues a week.
The Regular Publication Requirement — Art. 4/g
Regular publication: publication carried out, force majeure aside, without interruption of more than fifteen issues in daily periodicals, six issues in weekly periodicals, three issues in fortnightly periodicals, one issue in monthly, bimonthly and quarterly periodicals, and a total of two days at news and photo agencies, within one year.

The titles that may obtain a press card at daily political newspapers are listed in 14 sub-paragraphs in Art. 19/1. The quota is determined by the total surface area of the pages: there is no limitation for the domestic bureaux of those with more than 1.20 m²; for local newspapers there is a quota of +8 employees for 0.80–1.19 m², +3 for 0.60–0.79 m² and +1 for 0.40–0.59 m². Applications are not accepted from local newspapers of 0.39 m² or less and from national-regional newspapers of 1.19 m² or less.
