It is a statement of intent, not a commitment. Priorities can change with what comes in from the field; an item may drop off the list or jump ahead of the work queued before it. If a feature you are waiting for is not here, write to us — what gets prioritised is influenced most by the requests that come from publishers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do you not put dates on this list?
Because we do not want to give a date we cannot keep. On news site infrastructure an urgent job can always jump the queue; rather than miss a date we gave, we prefer not to give one. When a piece of work is complete we write it up in the release notes.
Can I request a feature?
You can, and it is the most useful kind of feedback there is. Write via the contact form; if a similar request comes from several publishers, we move it up.
Can an item drop off the list?
It can. If we see that a piece of work under consideration will not deliver the benefit we expected, we take it off the list. This page reflects not only what is added but also what is removed.
Do I install the updates myself?
No. On managed plans updates are applied by us; there is nothing for you to do.
