Solutions for Media Organisations

A district newspaper and a national portal do not need the same stack. These four pages set out, separately for each publication type, which components go together and where each regulatory duty actually sits.

KEYDAL’s inventory carries news software, web hosting, radio hosting, web TV hosting, cloud servers and domain names side by side. In practice that means the newspaper site, the radio stream and the live video feed do not have to live with three different providers.

Each solution page below lists the components that get set up, the duties the infrastructure covers, and the duties that remain the organisation’s own. We do not present an obligation that software cannot discharge as though software discharged it.

Why by Publication Type?

Selling everyone the same package is easy. Making it fit is another matter.

One Inventory

Software, hosting, radio, web TV, cloud servers and domains sit in one place, on one invoice, behind one support team. When something breaks, nobody points at anybody else.

Set Up for Your Publication Type

The build uses the components your publication actually needs. We do not push oversized packages, and scaling up later is a single step.

The Regulatory Line Is Drawn Openly

Every solution page carries a table showing which duties the infrastructure covers and which stay with the organisation. There is no such thing as software that is “fully compliant” on your behalf.

Software does not comply. Organisations do. Software can publish a masthead page, retain an archive and keep a broadcast recording. It cannot file a periodical declaration, staff an editorial payroll or satisfy press card conditions. These pages keep the two apart.

Read These First

Whatever you publish, these are a sensible starting point.

Let Us Work Out Which One Fits

Tell us what you publish and how you are set up today, and we will tell you which components you need.
