Can I really take newspaper, radio and TV from one place?
Yes. News software and web hosting cover the newspaper site, radio hosting covers the SHOUTcast/Icecast stream and web TV hosting covers live video. Taken together they come on one invoice with one support team.
Can my existing radio stream and site archive be migrated?
Yes, and migration is free. Whether it is a site, a radio archive or a video archive we handle the transfer; old links are preserved with 301 redirects.
If I buy this package, am I compliant?
No, and be wary of any provider that says otherwise. The infrastructure publishes the masthead, retains the archive and keeps broadcast recordings. Filing the periodical declaration, staffing the editorial payroll, obtaining a broadcast licence and clearing music rights are the organisation’s responsibility. The table above sets the split out line by line.
Can I add radio and web TV later?
Yes. You can start with the newspaper site alone and open the radio or web TV side later; it is added under the same account, with no need to go to another provider.
Will the site hold up on a night like an election night?
For heavy periods we can move you to a cloud server or scale the existing one on the spot. The safest route is to plan the load in advance: write to us a few weeks before, not the day before election week.
