|---|---|---|
| General publication coordinator | Art. 19/1-b | Publication management |
| General coordinator | Art. 19/1-c | Administration |
We covered the detail in what a general publication coordinator is.
The “Coordinators” at Anadolu Agency
There is no general coordinator in the Anadolu Agency list; sub-paragraph 23/1-d lists only coordinators and news coordinators.
The Coordinators at TRT
The TRT list (Arts. 25/1-b and c) lists channel coordinators, deputy channel coordinators, news coordinators, radio coordinators and deputy news coordinators; there is no general coordinator.
The Persons Who May Obtain a Press Card — Art. 7
Art. 7/1 of the Press Card Regulation lists in six sub-paragraphs the persons to whom the card may be given. Two of them relate directly to a managerial position:
- b) To the owners of periodicals or the representatives of legal persons and to the chairs of the boards of directors of radio and television organisations
- f) To the managers of trade unions and of associations and foundations established to be working for the public benefit, on condition that they operate in the media field
Conclusion
The general coordinator is listed in the Press Card Regulation in the administrative titles sub-paragraph (Art. 19/1-c and its equivalents) together with the director general, the institution manager and the administrative manager. In radio and television that sub-paragraph is shortened: only the director general or the general coordinator. The title does not appear in the lists for fortnightly publications, Anadolu Agency or TRT. It should not be confused with the general publication coordinator.
