The domestic sibling of the overseas internship programme, this regulation provides for the cost of a foreign language course to be met for journalists. The conditions are similar but the age limit differs.

The Conditions - Article 3

Where Is the Training Given? - Article 6

Foreign language training is given within the country, at the institutions and organisations to be chosen within the framework of the training programme. The same article governs payment:

  • At those organisations, the cost of the terms successfully completed during the training programme is met.
  • One payment is made for the same person in each course term.

Announcement - Article 4

The matters relating to the training programmes and the principles for determining those who will take part in them are announced by suitable means at least 15 days before the programme begins.

The Financial Source - Article 2

The programmes are planned having regard to the financial resources to be allocated for that purpose by the Promotion Fund. We cover the working of the Fund in the Promotion Fund guide.

The Participant's Obligation - Article 7

Those taking part in the training are obliged to follow the programme continuously and attentively. The programmes of those found not to be showing the attention and seriousness the training requires are cut short.
