The Provision Heading Changed by the 2024 Amendment
By Article 6 of Presidential Decision No. 8624 published in the Official Gazette of 6/6/2024, No. 32568, the phrases “Private radio” in the heading and in the first and second paragraphs of Art. 26 were changed to “Radio”. The provision now therefore refers to radio and television organisations generally, not only to private ones.
Conclusion
The moderator is a title listed in the Press Card Regulation only in the radio and television list (Art. 26/1-j). There is no title of “programme presenter” in the legislation; the presentation titles are the news anchor and the moderator. The condition of working in the news field applies to both.
