The Surreptitious Advertising Limit

Official Announcements and Advertisements Regulation Art. 6/4: news, pictures, video, writing and the like in the nature of an announcement or advertisement are stated to be an announcement or advertisement in a manner leaving no room for doubt.
The Distinction Between Economy and Finance
The Regulation lists the economy and finance fields separately. We covered the detail in the finance reporter and market journalism.
Commercial and Economic Agencies
Press Card Regulation Art. 24/2-c provides a separate quota for commercial and economic news or photograph agencies: a press card is given to the owners or the representatives of the legal persons of those that document 1,000 paying subscribers and the employment of at least 5 journalists on their staff who have previously held a press card and work within the scope of Law No. 5953, together with 13 employees.
Source Protection and Market Information
In economic reporting source protection is assessed within the framework of Art. 12 of Law No. 5187. We covered its limits in the limits of source protection.
The Relationship with Official Announcement Content
Official announcements falling within the economic field, such as tender, expropriation and bankruptcy announcements, are subject to a separate regime. We covered the detail in which announcements count as official announcements and in which announcements are published in the General Category.
Its Relationship with the Reporter Title
The 17 fields are listed for the managerial titles. The title of reporter, by contrast, appears in every list in a separate sub-paragraph without a field condition (Art. 19/1-h and its equivalents). In practice the name of the field defines the reporter’s specialisation.
We covered the detail in who is a reporter: duties, rights and the press card and in the news manager: duties and the press card title.
