On the other side of the scale stand Arts. 26 and 28. We covered the detail in the constitutional basis of press freedom.
The Press Ethics Principles
The General Assembly Decision on the Press Ethics Principles, based on Article 49 of Law No. 195, is binding for publications publishing official announcements and contains principles on the protection of private life.
The Use of Footage and Photographs
The Right of Reply and Correction
The right of reply is often used in celebrity reporting. We covered its procedure in separate articles:
Deceased Persons
We covered the detail in defaming the dead.
Celebrity News in the Official Advertisement Content Requirement
Official Announcements and Advertisements Regulation Art. 79 lists celebrity news among the subjects that may appear in the content of periodicals that will publish official advertisements: politics, society, the economy, culture, the arts, science, technology, celebrity news and sport.
Its Relationship with the Reporter Title
The 17 fields are listed for the managerial titles. The title of reporter, by contrast, appears in every list in a separate sub-paragraph without a field condition (Art. 19/1-h and its equivalents). In practice the name of the field defines the reporter’s specialisation.
We covered the detail in who is a reporter: duties, rights and the press card and in the news manager: duties and the press card title.
