|---|---|
| Post-based press card | Art. 6/1-a |
| Fixed-term press card | Art. 6/1-b |
| Temporary press card | Art. 6/1-c |
| Free press card | Art. 6/1-ç |
| Permanent press card | Art. 6/1-d |
Seniority under Law No. 5953
In journalism, seniority is also decisive for severance pay and notice periods. We covered the seniority regime of Law No. 5953 and the annulment decisions of the Constitutional Court in the employment rights of journalists.
The Senior Title in Other Organisations
The prefix “senior” appears in the Press Card Regulation only in the Anadolu Agency list (Art. 23). It does not appear in the lists for newspapers, magazines, agencies, TRT, radio-TV or internet news sites.
