The visitor traffic additional indicator is, contrary to what its name suggests, not tied to traffic alone: it requires the staff and the traffic together.

Art. 66 requires the staff to have the qualifications stated in Arts. 18 and 19 and to be proportionate to the duties and numbers of the minimum staff determined in Art. 59. We cover the detail in the staff indicator guide.
The Conditions of Validity of the Traffic Data
- Art. 61/2 (Amended: Official Gazette 10/12/2025-33103): it is compulsory for at least 10% of the unique visitor numbers to consist of directly arriving visitors.
- Art. 61/3 (Amended: Official Gazette 19/9/2024-32667): the daily average time spent on a page must be at least 30 seconds in Categories 1-5 and at least 1 minute in the General Category.
- Art. 61/4: traffic originating within the country is taken into account; in the General Category 10% of that originating abroad is included (Amended: Official Gazette 10/12/2025-33103).
- Art. 61/6: if BIK Analytics is not working the traffic data are accepted as zero.
The Measure for Suspension and Resumption - Art. 61/10
(Added: Official Gazette 6/3/2024-32481) - The suspension and resumption procedures relating to the minimum visitor traffic condition in respect of internet news sites are carried out having regard to whether the minimum visitor traffic information determined according to their categories has been fulfilled for at least 7 consecutive days or for at least 16 days intermittently within a month.

The Conditions of Application - Art. 65
- To have published official announcements for at least 6 months
- To fulfil the condition for at least 1 month backwards
- To notify the Agency in signed form, expressly stating the article
Art. 65/3 (Amended: Official Gazette 10/12/2025-33103): for sites completing the waiting period under Art. 54/2 the additional indicator conditions other than subparagraph (c) are not required.
