The official advertisement regime is far lighter than the official announcement regime: the staff requirement is reduced to a single person, the surface area to 1.40 square metres, and the waiting period to a number of issues.
Scope — Art. 78
Only periodicals that hold the right to publish advertisements, or that are within the waiting period in order to acquire that right, are obliged to comply with the provisions of this part. In addition, the provisions in the first part are applied to the extent that they are relevant.
Content — Art. 79
The periodicals within the scope of this part must include, in their content, original and current news, columns, articles, commentary, research, interviews and other such writing, as well as pictures, photographs, graphics, cartoons and the like, relating to any one or more of the subjects of politics, society, the economy, culture, the arts, (Added phrase: Official Gazette 10/12/2025-33103) science, technology, celebrity news and sport.

Minimum Staff — Art. 82
Newspapers and magazines are obliged to employ, in their minimum intellectual worker staff, (Repealed phrase: Official Gazette 10/12/2024-32748) 1 responsible manager (editorial manager) (Repealed phrase: Official Gazette 10/12/2024-32748).
Minimum Surface Area — Art. 83
The surface area of newspapers and magazines must be at least 1.40 square metres.
Continuity of Publication — Art. 84
- Art. 84/1: Newspapers and magazines must be published at the intervals stated in the declaration they submitted under Law No. 5187.
- Art. 84/2: Newspapers and magazines that have acquired the right to publish official advertisements and that are published at least once a month or more frequently may combine 2 of their issues, not more than once in the same year.
The Delivery Obligation — Art. 85
Whether or not their content includes advertisements, newspapers and magazines are obliged to deliver at least 2 copies of each issue regarded as a document, including supplements, to the branches of the Agency, and also to deliver the pages of those issues to the Agency over İLANBİS in the file format determined by the Agency. Otherwise they are removed from the list of periodicals.

Inspection — Art. 92/5
Newspapers, magazines or internet news sites that hold the right to publish official advertisements, or that have been made subject to a waiting period in order to acquire that right, may also be inspected where this is considered necessary.
The Waiting Period and Special Issues

Conclusion
In newspapers and magazines that publish only official advertisements, the content must be original and current; 1 responsible manager (editorial manager) must be employed on the staff; the surface area must be at least 1.40 square metres; and publication must follow the intervals stated in the declaration. Two issues may be combined not more than once in the same year. If at least 2 copies of each issue, including supplements, are not delivered to the branches of the Agency and the pages are not delivered over İLANBİS, the publication is removed from the list of periodicals.
