Abuseye
Abuseye: a cybersecurity platform sharing threat analyses, IOCs and research reports on malware families.
Abuseye is a cybersecurity platform that shares in-depth threat analyses, IOCs (indicators of compromise) and research reports on malware families such as RATs, infostealers and backdoors.
What is in the reports?
Each report explains which family the analysed sample belongs to, how it spreads (phishing attachments, fake installers, update look-alikes and similar methods) and what it does on the system after infection, under clear headings. The technical section covers network traffic, persistence methods and command-and-control addresses; indicators of compromise are given in a separate block, ready to be copied into block lists. Although the language is technical, every section opens with a short summary, so an administrator who is not a security specialist can tell within a few lines whether the threat concerns them.
Who is it for?
Abuseye is written for system administrators, security operations teams and publishers who run their own servers. Anyone who needs to judge whether an alert is a real threat, update block lists or assess the scope of an incident can use the reports. The platform grew out of the security experience gained on the infrastructure KEYDAL runs for news sites; the content is not tied to any product, and the findings are published openly.
Abuseye is a cybersecurity platform that examines malware families at a technical level and publishes its findings openly. It reports the behaviour, spreading methods and command-and-control infrastructure of active threats, above all remote access trojans (RATs), infostealers and backdoors. Every analysis includes a separate section of indicators of compromise (IOCs) - domains, IP addresses, file hashes and signatures - that defenders can use directly.
The platform is aimed at system administrators, security teams and publishers who run their own infrastructure; the reports provide what is needed to recognise a threat and make it harder for the same attack to succeed elsewhere. Abuseye is run as an independent brand under KEYDAL and is live at abuseye.com.
