In the official announcement regime the administrative route of objection is single and clear: against a decision of the Directorate General, to the Board of Directors, within 10 working days.
When the Period Starts — Art. 115/5
The periods in this provision start from the first working day following the day on which the decision was notified.
If the Objection Is Upheld — Art. 115/2
If the Board of Directors finds the objection justified, the file is sent to the Directorate General for the necessary action.
When Does a Decision Become Final? — Art. 115/3
Where no objection is made to a decision of the Directorate General, or no objection is made in time, or the objection is ultimately not upheld by the Board of Directors, the decision becomes final.
| Situation | Result |
|---|---|
| No objection was made at all | The decision becomes final |
| No objection was made in time | The decision becomes final |
| The objection was not upheld by the Board of Directors | The decision becomes final |
| The objection was found justified | The file is sent to the Directorate General for the necessary action |
A Separate Letter for Each Decision — Art. 115/4
Newspapers or internet news sites must submit their objections concerning decisions taken in respect of them to the Agency by separate letters for each decision of the Directorate General.
The Consequence of Finality: Set-Off and Compensation — Art. 112/3
The applications made in respect of set-offs and compensations are implemented after the decisions on which they are based become final. The instruction letter is shared over İLANBİS (Added sentence: Official Gazette 19/9/2024-32667). We covered the detail in how set-off and compensation procedures work.

Conclusion
A newspaper or internet news site to which a decision of the Directorate General has been notified may object to the Board of Directors within 10 working days. The period starts on the first working day following the day on which the decision was notified, and the date on which the letter of objection reaches the records of the Agency is taken as the basis. A separate letter must be submitted for each decision. Where no objection is made, none is made in time, or the objection is rejected, the decision becomes final.
