Why we don't show an "industry average"
This tool calculates your daily spend from the total budget and campaign length you enter; if you add an expected CPC or CPM, it also derives possible click/impression counts from those. The one thing we deliberately don't do is hand you a number like "the average CPC in your industry is X." Real advertising costs vary so enormously by platform (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok...), industry, keyword competitiveness, audience targeting, ad quality score and seasonality that a made-up "average" wouldn't help you — it would mislead you.
The most reliable source for your expected CPC/CPM is your own account: Google Ads Keyword Planner gives real, auction-based estimates for the specific keywords and targeting you're using; Meta Ads Manager shows historical averages based on your account's own performance. Pulling those real numbers in and planning around them is far more reliable than plugging in a guessed figure.
Also keep daily budget pacing in mind: most ad platforms allow your daily budget to be spent up to 2x on a given day, with the overspend averaged out over the billing period. This is a real, platform-documented behavior worth knowing when you're setting a budget.

Logs are kept only for security purposes (rate limiting, abuse detection) and deleted within 30 days.
